Route Package Protection
We’ve partnered with Route to offer shipping insurance for your orders, providing protection against loss, theft, or damage.
What Is Route?
Route is an optional, low-cost add-on that covers your order during transit.
- Cost: $0.98 for orders under $100, or 2% of the total for orders over $100
- Coverage: Protection against lost, stolen, or damaged packages
- Claims: Easy online claims with resolutions (reorder or refund) within 24 hours
If you choose not to purchase Route, MY OUTFIT ONLINE is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping.
Claims in those cases must be filed directly with UPS.
How to File a Claim
- Locate your Route Order ID from the confirmation email
- Visit Route Claims to submit your claim
When to File a Claim
Lost Packages
File if tracking hasn’t updated for 7 days (20 days for international) and no delivery has occurred.
Deadline: Must be filed within 30 days of the last tracking update.
Damaged Items
File immediately upon receipt. Include clear photos of the item and its packaging.
Deadline: Must be filed within 15 days of delivery.
Stolen Packages
If your order is marked as delivered but not received, wait 5 days before filing a claim.
Deadline: Must be filed within 15 days of delivery.
Note: Orders over $100 require a police report for stolen packages.
